Paleo Gluten Free Sugar Free Apple Crisp


Organic Ingredients 4 Apples - Granny Smith has less sugar, but Macs and other varieties will give you more juice 2 Tsp Lemon juice 1 Tbsp Vanilla extract - divided 1/2 tsp Nutmeg 1 Tbsp Saigon Cinnamon divided 1 cup Almond Flour 1/4 cup Coconut oil 1/2 cup Pecans or Walnuts chopped


A Delicious Fall Desert without gluten, grain, dairy or sugar.  

If you need a little sweetener  then add 2  Tbsps of monk fruit or Stevia or Coconut sugar into the Almond Flour mix

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

Core, peel, and thinly slice the apples and toss well with lemon juice, nutmeg, 2 Tsp cinnamon, 2 Tsp vanilla extract.  

Place in an 8"x8" baking dish or the equivalent.

Melt the Coconut oil, mix in the 1 cup of Almond Flour with pecans or walnuts and 1 Tsp of cinnamon

Sprinkle of the apple mixture in baking dish and then sprinkle 1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract overall.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes covered and then another 10 to 20 minutes uncovered.  Apples should be soft and bubbly.
